In the Running, need your help.

In 2014 I was honoured when my first book Can’t Swim, Can’t Ride, Can’t Run made it to the final twelve at the Running Awards. Nominations are put forward by the public and then those with the highest number of votes go through to the final, where voting begins again. I certainly wasn’t expecting it but I actually won the Best Book award beating off some fantastic competition.

Well I’ve made it to the final again, and voting closes this coming Sunday the 8th February. It would be nice not to come last this time around, so I’d really appreciate your vote please. I’m up against some very stiff competition including Ira Raineys “From Fatman to Green Man” which is a great read and came a close second last year. I’m also up against another Ironman book for the first time, “Triathlon it Hurts” which I was honoured to write the Foreward for.

The winners will be announced at a gala do at the O2 Dome in London in April, I’m hoping to attend but that all depends on how things are going with Baby Holgate who is due to put an appearance in around then.

So thanks in advance, it would be nice not to come last and to even be in with a chance of winning, not something that happens a lot in my triathlon career. 😉
