In 2006 I entered my first triathlon, I was clueless. I became hooked on the sport after my first mud soaked race and entered an Ironman race.
I started blogging as a way of motivating myself and letting my friends and family know how I was progressing.
Things as they say, snowballed, and over 6 years later I'm the veteran of 5 Ironman races, numerous other triathlons, more blog posts than I care to count and two books that tell my story.
I hope you enjoy my blog.

Now the water on here can get pretty choppy at times, so ask yourself "Am I going to sink or swim?"
What the hell am I wittering about?
Comments, left by you - my readers. Keep it clean, not too abusive and don't try and enroll me in your latest I-pad for $4 get rich quick scheme, I'm really not interested.
So keep it nice and you'll swim, if not you'll sink as I block your comments for the good of the blog and my readers.
